PRO MTB Ambassador, Scotty Laughland, dialed in his new SCOTT Ransom 170mm travel full suspension Enduro bike with a PRO cockpit and saddle. Take a look at his choices and the rationale behind each product selection as he leads the #MakeItYours charge.
'The SCOTT Ransom has been my go-to Enduro and big mountain adventure bike. It’s designed to be incredibly capable yet light enough to climb anything. I personally enjoy the process of building each of my own bikes and spec them with a selection of chosen components that I feel match the bikes performance.
PRO’s Tharsis range compliments my Ransom build perfectly. The carbon handlebar is lightweight, stiff, compliant and offers great damping properties - helping save my hands on those longer descents. I run them at full width, 800mm and personally choose the 30mm rise. This height allows me to run a lower stack height which maintains a longer reach on the bike but doesn’t compromise my ride position. I also run the 55mm stem, it gives me the extra length to move around on the bike and is a good balance when it comes to climbing and descending.
The saddle is the PRO’s Griffon Off Road, the 142mm width perfectly suits my size, it’s well-padded and comfortable for all day climbing but slim enough I can manoeuvre on technical descents.

It’s available in 3 widths and features lightweight EVA padding, Stainless Steel rails and covered in a polyurethane coating which is super durable and ensures that your saddle does not crack or wear down easily.
PRO Carbon Top Cap is UD carbon headset cap. It’s lightweight and features an anodized alloy bolt and starnut.
